01.00 Left Bradford St Georges Hall after a good load out. Crew had after show party.
02.30 Arrived Sheffield Octagon and went to bed.
11.00 Got up and Managed to blag a shower at the gig (big thanks to the porter in Sheffield).
12.30 Caught the bus into town and got lost. Eventually found the hotel. No one about so found the nearest pub. Got a call from Ian band bus driver. Joined me for a (few pints).
19.00 We all meet in hotel bar and decided to go for an Albanian meal (Lebanese really) that turned out to be expensive and crap. This is where it all starts to get a bit hazy. Remember going back to the hotel for a while. Don’t remember leaving the hotel. But woke up 06.00 in passenger foot well cuddled up to my fridge and the engine still running (ooopps).
For some strange reason I managed to get banned from swearing for the whole of the next day. £50 fine if caught swearing. Apart from that it was a great day off (I think). Thanks Sheffield!
