A swaggie awakes to the sound of seagulls ( I laugh to myself ) remember the revenge discussion on the bus the night before. Two years ago the crew had a day off in Folkstone. We awoke to a seagull in the back lounge of the bus. It turned out that the band had put bread on the roof of our bus! The revenge entailed the same, and as I awoke I knew the boys had not let us down. Des and Gordy had put bread and egg mayonayse sarnies on the bands bus, and the birds were hungry. Needless to say we giggled the morning away.
As a swaggie has no technical knowledge of the gig, I know nothing of the fun and problems the sound guys had today. But they all looked their normal happy selves ( and we know why Dave! ).
During the gig Milky had a shoe hit the desk. Best sound move yet!
Later on, on the bus we had to note the transformation of Dave to Mr Loverman! It has been well noted tonight he, I don't quite know how to say this, he poured his glass of wine into Milkys and said he was going to bed. We all played it cool, waiting for the joke, but it never came!
Then the fight began, but we don't talk about that! |
